Using Color Properly

Never use color alone to convey information (WCAG 1.4.1).

Examples of violations:

• Red text only for required fields
• Green/red to indicate pass/fail

Always combine color with text, icons, or patterns.

All text and interactive elements must have at least 4.5:1 contrast ratio (3:1 for large text).
