Creating a Team Member

When you create a Team member, add an image that is at least 245×327. Using an image that is cropped to a 3:4 aspect ratio is preferred.

Configuring the Plugin

When setting up the Team Showcase (a.k.a. Team) plugin, follow these steps:

1. Go to Team > Settings.
   1. Click Show Advanced Settings.
   2. Advanced – Additional Fields
      1. Add the following to Custom Information Fields:
         fax,Fax,Fax Number,text,fas fa-fax,tel,<div class=”ts-fax”>%s</div>,faxNumber;
   3. Image Options
      1. Set Main Image Size
         1. Width: 327
         2. Height: 327
         3. Crop: No
   4. Linking Settings
      1. No change
   5. Ajax Settings
      1. No change
   6. Search Settings
      1. No change
   7. Registered Users Access
      1. No change
   8. Single Page Settings
      1. If you want profile pages for your Team members, set Active to Yes.
      2. Set Page Template to Post.
      3. Check the following boxes beside Display (leaving the others unchecked):
         1. Social Icons
         2. Photo/Image, Square (normal)
         3. Job Title
         4. Email
         5. Location
         6. Telephone
         7. Personal Website
         8. Fax (you will need to save the settings before this option will appear)
   9. Archive Page
      1. No change
   10. Labels/Names
       1. No change
   11. Taxonomies
       1. No change
   12. Custom Styles & Scripts
       1. No change
   13. Block Editor
       1. No change
2. Go to Team > Shortcode Generator
   1. Under What information do you want to display, check the following boxes (leaving the others unchecked):
      1. Name/Title
      2. Job Title
      3. Email
      4. Location
      5. Telephone
      6. Photo/Image
   2. If you want profile pages for your Team members, set Entry Link to Active (Default).
   3. Set Load a layout preset to None.
   4. Set Layout to Grid.
   5. Set Columns to 1.
   6. Set Theme to Simple White Card.
   7. Set Composition to Image Left – Content Right.
   8. Set Image Shape to Square (normal).
   9. Set Image Effect to None
   10. Set Text-Align to Left.
   11. Click Save Settings.
   12. Copy the shortcode from the field in the upper right. It begins with “[show-team …”
3. Create the page where your Team list will go.
4. Add a shortcode block and paste in the shortcode you copied earlier.
