Accessibility Resources

UAMS is committed to making all digital content fully accessible. As a public institution, we are required to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA by April 26, 2027 under the U.S. Department of Justice Title II ADA final rule (April 2024).

Blackboard Ally for Websites continuously monitors every UAMS site and gives editors real-time accessibility scores and fix guidance.

Required Training & Certification

• Web Accessibility Training for UAMS CMS and Calendar Editors (private – login required) Comprehensive training module (must be completed before receiving editing access)
• Annual Refresher Quiz (80% passing score required each year to retain access)
