Which Providers Get a Provider Profile?

In order to have a published profile on uamshealth.com, at least one of the provider’s practice locations must meet the criteria for a published location profile and that location must currently have a published profile.

The following individuals should have a published provider profile added to UAMSHealth.com if they currently have a clinical role:

• Doctors of Medicine (M.D.)
• Doctors of Osteopathy (D.O.)
• Doctors of Podiatric Medicine (DPM)
• Doctors of Optometry (O.D.)
• Doctors of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.)
• Doctors of Medicine in Dentistry (D.M.D.)

In addition, non-physician providers should have a published provider profile added to UAMSHealth.com if they provide direct patient care via appointments, with patients appointed to them as an individual rather than appointed to a resource.

The following health care providers should not have a published provider profile added to uamshealth.com:

• Residents
• Fellows
• Contingent workers
• Temporary employees
• Employees with a less than annual appointment
• Future employees
• Past employees
