UAMS Section Block
The UAMS Section block is meant to be used on a landing page in among other UAMS blocks. Its purpose is to get that basic content (a few paragraphs or a list) and embedded media players into your page, which isn’t possible with the other blocks.
Set the block’s title by selecting the block and defining the text value in the Section Title field in the Block panel on the right side of the browser window. Enter a heading that is relevant to the text content included in this block. It is recommended that you do not hide the heading.
Capitalize the text in the heading according to the AP Style rules for composition titles.
Set the block’s background color by selecting the block and choosing a color from the Background Color dropdown in the Block panel on the right side of the browser window. Read Backgrounds of UAMS Blocks before setting the background color of this block.
The block functions as an isolated dropzone for certain Gutenberg blocks. With the block selected, add blocks by clicking the Toggle Block Inserter button near the top left corner of your browser window (a block square with a white plus sign).
The list of blocks currently allowed in the UAMS Section block are:
- Paragraph
- Heading
- List
- Quote
- Table
- Image
- File
- Shortcode
- Formidable Forms
- Gravity Forms
- Embed (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo)
The block will be displayed at full alignment. Setting the alignment of the block will have no effect on the front end.
