Making a Shortcode Block Use the Wide Alignment
You may have a TablePress table or some other shortcode that needs to be a little bit wider than normal. To do that, you can take a few steps to have a shortcode block use a wide alignment.
Select the shortcode block, click the Options icon (three dots), then click “Group.”
Then, with that group selected — as denoted by the icon with two squares overlapping on the left side of the block’s editor bar — change the alignment of the block by clicking the Change Alignment icon (various horizontal bars of 2-3 thicknesses), then set it as “Wide width.”
If you need to reselect that group, click the Outline icon at the top (three offset horizontal lines) and select the group.
With the group selected, you can then change the alignment by clicking the Change Alignment icon and selecting a new alignment option.
With the group selected, you can ungroup your block by clicking the Options icon then selecting “Ungroup.”
