Getting Stakeholder Access to Google Analytics for UAMS
If you are a stakeholder from a UAMS department or organization and want access to Google Analytics in order to monitor your site’s traffic, you can either set up a Google account with your UAMS email address or use your personal Google account. The preferred method is to use a UAMS email address.
Setting up a Google Account Using a UAMS Email Address
To use a UAMS email address, you will need to set up a Google account with that email address first. Follow the steps below to accomplish this.
- Log out of any Google account(s) you’re currently logged in to, then open https://accounts.google.com.
- Click the Create Account link below the gray “sign in with your Google Account” box and select For myself.
- Below the “Choose your username” field, click the Use my current email address instead link.
- Enter the UAMS email address.
- Finish filling out the form and confirm your new account with the email address you provided.
- Let the web team know that this is complete.
Using a Personal Google Account
If you wish to use your personal Google account, send the web team the email address associated with that Google account (e.g., username@gmail.com).
